  • Can you install a new cat yourself?

I think my stock cat converter has gone bad on my car, when I rev it to high rpms I can hear a sort or crunch rattling sound, i think its the cat. It sounds bad when i rev it high. If I buy a new one can I put it on myself? Or it needs to be doen at a shop? thanks, by the way i have a 95 3.4 Camaro

yes, look on summitracing.com for a direct fit.. its a 30min - 1hr job maybe..

the direct fit is the only one you can do yourself, unless u wanna cut, clamp and weld..
