What is catback exhaust?

i feel really dumb asking this but....
i am purchasing a B&B Triflow CatBack Quad Tipped Exhaust... what exactly comes with this? i know the exhaust pipes and muffler... am i right so far? does it come with some type of CatConverter or what.... what does the term CATBACK mean?

it's ok...i feel kinda dumb so please answer in the best Laymen's terms as possible :D

Its a muffler with tips, tip-piping, an axle crossover pipe, and new intermediate piping.

Its an exhaust "system" from the catalytic converter back.

You might want to invest in a new cat-converter though when you install this so your new 3" system is trully 3"!

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
