Quick question... is the plastic cutoff plate really necessary in the SLP CAI kit for the 96 camaro? I was wondering, becuase i am just gonna make my own, and was just wondering if it was real important. thanks [img]smile.gif[/img]

I personally think it's neccessary because it prevents stuff from getting into the engine area. A little tricky to get all of them to snap in, but it should take about a minute or two.
