  • How much should new tailpipes cost?

I want to get new tailpipes for my Flowmaster 80 bent (tailpipes, NOT exhaust tips). The reason is because when the guy installed it, he put them WAAAAYYYY too close together, and now that one of my exhaust tips fell off, I measured it, and the pipe diameter is 2.25!!  Now I want 2.5 inch pipes bent, and I want them farther apart. How much should new tailpipes cost?

I bought a nice (new) set on Ebay for $40.00. They are NOT the rectangular Z28 type, they are the round dual outlet type GM part# A10243346. They are very nice, but I still haven't put them on yet. They could be turned either way when installing them to make the pipes look closer or farther apart. Go to www.chevyparts.com to price them new, then go to ebay to see if there are any up for bid.

He said pipes, not tips. New pipes shouldn't be TOO much. Probably $50-$75 including installation, that's my guess.
