Go to either 3 Inch or 2.75 I pipe and borla rear section. Of course since I have this, I am going to say it is the best. But I have heard flowmaster, spintech, and dynomax, and by far borla is the BEST sounding. It is not the loudest, and doesnt have that deep rumble tone. I think it sounds like some kind of exotic sports car exhaust, but that is just me. All in all, you will not be disappointed with borla. At first I just had the rear section, and it didnt differ from the stock tone too much, but since I went with a highflow cat and 2.75 I pipe the sound has gotten better and better.

              At idle. Above 1500rpm it's a weed-whacker on speed.

I've heard that the Borla sounds better on the 3.4's than on the 3.8s.

Based on the posts around here, I'd say to go with either a Dynomax or Spintech muffler, or an 80 Series if you're determined to stick with Flowmaster.

get a 3 inch mandrel bent I pipe. I did. I have a flowmaster muffler and it made it sound so much smoother. Really sounds awsome. 3 inch all the way.

I don't like Borla. For the expensive exhausts (Borla, B&B, GMMG), B&B sounds the best (haven't heard GMMG so can't comment on that). Sh*t man, I'd just leave your flows on it though. I love the sound of my flow 80's and the cutout. I still need to get a high flow cat and some larger pipes though.
