  • 2.5" is coming soon, i needs opinions

Well, as you all know, I have to get rid of the loudmouth. The parents want 2.5" exhaust. They don't think anything 3" will be quiet enough for thier expectations. SO! I kinda have this little thing against flowmaster for some reason, and so do my friends, lol. The funny thing is that it's the best sounding one I've found so far. But it's pretty much all I've heard. I'm downloading the magnaflow 2.5" clip now but was wondering what a dynomax super turbo would sound like. I also was looking at borla stuff online and found an old borla muffler (the muffler is new but it's for an older f-body) and I asked the guy if it was 2.5 or 3". If it's 2.5" anyone think it would sound good? Just, anyone with 2.5" exhaust voice your opinions.

I have the Flowmaster American Thunder kit. I think it sounds good, nice and throaty. What do you have against flowmaster by the way?

I just installed my Magnaflow 2.5" catback on my '98 with a 3.8 today and I love it. I highly recommend it...

if your worried about flowmaster not flowing, get an electric cutout and make your system loud whenever your parents arent around
I will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.

the 3" wont make it any louder for them to notice a difference.
