  • Catalytic Conv. Question

Is there a reason to get a catalytic converter with an air tube rather than one without? The reason I am asking is that the people on here that have a carsound usually use part number 94009, but part number 94019 is cheaper at the moment. The parts are both 3" in/out the only difference being that 94019 has an air tube.

I would go for the one with the air tube..

you can capp it off or weld it shut no problem..

Ok, so let's change the question... what does the air tube do exactly?
