• Intermediate Pipe

Yea I live in a hole called Maryland. I hate all the local muffler shops around here cause they won't sell me an intermediate pipe. I tell them that I want a 3 inch I-pipe for a 2002 Camaro. Then they ask if its a Z28 or SS, and then I tell them its a V6. After that they basically bash me for owning a V6 and then they all tell me that it is "Highly recommended" that I do not buy a 3" I-pipe. In fact my brother owns a 2001 V6 Camaro and he has Flowmaster American Thunder Catback with 3" piping. So i know that it will fit. Does anyone know a website or if you live in MD, a local muffler shop that is not bias. Thanks!

i called them up today and they said something about not having a catalog and they dont know how much an I-pipe would cost. But from what i've heard, they are the best.

so they dont have any 3" pipe laying around?

i looked at jeg's for you; they sell 4ft sections for $14.99, not sure how long the I-pipe is though.....

damn, that reminds me of another part i need to buy.....

you want from the cat over the pipe to your muffler?

jegs has the U-bend pipes(cut in half and weld to make s-pipe)<-(part i forgot) and straight pipes; but the shop would have to make you one over the axle,

he got all his pipes online... half from summit and the "s" pipe from jegs...

part #'s are there as well...

Try Tony's Custom exhaust in Glen Burnie, he's on Crain highway. Several of the techs here have had work done by him and it looks pretty good. I think he has mandrel bending equipment as well.

                        Good luck.
