  • Is this the correct catco cat I need?

I have a 1998 firebird. I decided to buy this since no muffler shop will or can make me a 2.25 to 3inch adapter for my TSP rumbler catback. **** them. I dont know why I went to 8 stores in the Egg Harbor township area and not come back with anything.
I didnt get my exhaust on so here I am.

Now i have an 02 simulator. do I need another one. will this fit/replace my cat perfectly?

I want to cut my old one off and use 3 inch bandclamps to clamp the cat on. Is that good? How long will that hold til it falls off? I use those bandclamps on my old car and nothing has ever fallen off.

That's the cat I have, works fine.
You don't need another O2 Sim.
Personally, I would find a place that will weld it on.
