  • to cat or not to cat?

Is it worth it to get a hi-flow cat or just stick with the stock one, I have new headers and a cat-back Borla exhaust, so the cat is the only thing left. Or maybe just cut it out, but they have pretty strict rules in the shops around here. Any help or comments are appreciated.

If you decide to go with no cat just cut the cat out yourself and clamp a new pipe in there and say another shop did it and you need it welded up, thats what I did.

Wouldn't you need to buy a sensor to keep the ses light from coming on

I have a 3.4 so I didn't have to worry about a sensor. I would think a O2 sim would work but I don't know much about the 3.8's sensors.
