  • how to test the IAT sensor?

I have just an idea that might screw with my morning idle, or after I start it. How can I test the IAT sensor? Please let me know.

Take out the IAT, get a multimeter and measure the resistance when it is cold. Then try a hair dryer or something so you can heat up the sensor. If the resistance varies then the sensor it's ok. The resistance should be more as the temperature get lower. I hope this helps.
