  • What are best mods for 3.4 1995 Camaro? Like intake and exaust

I got a 1995 3.4 Camaro and I want a louder and deeper sound out of the engine. Do you guys have any suggestions or ideas? Like what kinda of exaust would be good to buy and what kind of intake? I took off the air silencer already. Im 17 so I dont have much money I spent it on buying the car, so does anyone have any idea for exaust and inake? and will it improve or lower my cars performance? Thanks

Your best bet is a cold air intake kit, and a good exhaust. I have a 3.4 also and i have the cai from SLP and a Borla exhaust, the car definitly sounds a lot better and is a little quicker than stock. I know you don't have a lot of $$$ but these two mods seem to be the best place to start, when getting better performance from our cars. My cai was about $220, and the exhaust was $430 from summit. There are cheaper exhaust setups out there but i like Borla. :D
By the way, what part of NY u from?

I have the K&N FIPK (CAI) and the Ravin exhaust muffler with a 3 inch I pipe and S pipe. They give the car a great exhaust sound and seem to give the car quite a bit better acceleration and overall performance. I would also add a high flow 3" cat. The K&N costs around $180-220 depending on where you get it. The exhaust all together costs around 330 or so depending on where you buy the parts from.

The intake and exhaust work together to give you improved performance and a better sounding car, I'm real happy w/the way mine sounds. If you do a search some people have posted sound clips of diffrent exhaust setups so u can get an idea.

I'm in western nassau county, not too far from you.
