• Spintech muffler on the 3.8?

I keep hearing nothing but praise about Spintech, but it's generally coming from the 3.4 crowd. Anyone have a set up on the 3.8?

Yeah, I know stuff like this comes up a million times. Just deal with it, it's a public message board.

    Thanks

I just got mine a week ago, and I love it! Nice and deep; kinda loud, but it would be better if I had some bigger tips, headers, and a high flow cat. I can't wait to see if it gets even better over time! :D

Yeah, if you could get a soundclip up that would be great. I'm strongly considering dropping my Flowmaster for a Spintech based on a couple sound clips. I'd still like to hear one on a 3.8 though, and I can't exactly drive down to Dallas.

I'd like to hear how a Spintech sounds like too...I'm still stuck in the Flowmaster/Dynomax problem but Spintech is sounding more and more interesting everytime I come on.

Oh yeah...Texas is a little too far for me too. ;)

Alllllright.... you twisted my arm. I guess I have to make a soundclip now. Um... anyone want to tell me how I should record it? I have a crappy tape recorder, a pretty good vocal mic, a crappy computer mic, and a good computer with a good soundcard and software. Any suggestions?

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
