The dyno figures someone posted with a whisper lid are very impressive.

After I installed mine, I definatly noticed a "sucking" noise coming from the hood with it shut. The whisper lid is more free flowing than the OEM airlid becuase it doesn't have the air silencers which slow down air flow and make things quieter.

Its barely noticeable usually, but above 3,000 the growl is beautiful sounding :D2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Up to 3000 RPMs with a steady foot and you won't notice a sound difference. Post 3000 RPMs or if you step on the gas, you're gonna hear it. It's not pretty in my opinion, but it's tolerable.Comment
