Ok ive been doing searches and reading for about an hour now but I cant find any detailed explination on how to remove the MAF screen. Can someone please tell me how to? thanks, by the way i have a 1995 3.4 camaro

since noboyd else is helping you, you have two options
1: Stick a screwdriver in it and rip it out, you will not be able to use it again, but hey, you got it out.
2) Take a small screwdriver and pull the silver ring out first. Before you start ripping your engine apart you better check if the 3.4 even has a MAF or any kind of screen. I don't believe there is one on the 3.4, only the 3800 (96-02 cars), that's why you probably couldn't find anything in your searches.

The 3.4L does not have a MAF or a MAF screen. The 3.4L uses a MAP instead of a MAF.
