  • Just Got my Edlebrock On

Ok, the edlebrock is on, but I have a few complaints. I bought 2 45 degree sections from jcwhitney, and the edlebrock exhaust from summit, as well as a high flow cat. First off, the guy at the shop said that he would have done the entire job for 250 total, cat and all... the parts cost me 350 total, so there I lost money. Also, the edlebrock is a horrible job to fit on, at least to a 2000. Overall, I like the exhaust very much, it sounds great. It is a tad bit loud for my tastes, but I very much like it. Especially at idle! I haven't noticed any power gains though, not really. I just notice that in the 60-70 range, the power doesn't drop off as much. Oh, and I am starting to think that my speed limiter hasn't been taken off, because I can still only hit 120... Anyway, there is the report.

Edlebrock will also need to break in.
    The sound will get deeper.
My ex bought me mine, $280 for it from summit

You'll adjust to the sound and then you'll feel strange driving a quieter car - trust me on this :D

First off, I love the edlebrock. Even in only the first 100 miles it is quieting down and deepening out. I really love it!!!! It doesn't go ricey or raspy either, at any rpm value. The best is when I am walking up to my car from behind and I remote start it.

To be honest, I have to say that the sound is perfect. At WOT the exhaust roars, but on daily driving, it just rumbles a little and isn't too loud.

I really wish someone had a sound clip of a edlebrock system because I think I may sell my borla and get edlebrock.

sell borla for edlebrock? I think your crazy. I think Borla is a much better quality exhaust system. But if your serious about doing this how much you want for your borla?

Well I am not positive yet, I have to wait and see what the L36 powerpack from supersixmotorsports and headers sound like first lol.
