• Anyone want to hear and see a Ravin exhaust look within...

My buddy took some pics and mini videos with his digital camera yesterday, and I think they turned out okay, considering it's not an actual video camera.

Anyways, there's 2 clips, one of some revving, the other a launch(makes me really want 3.42's : )

    Comments welcome : )

ps... on the launch I rev'd to 2000rpm, probably should have gone higher : )

Great sound clip. I need to get one done of my Ravin. Mine is a little deeper but I have huge tips on it. 3-1/2x18" In my opinion the Ravin sounds awesome and I have listened to alot of V6 systems. I have been researching and listening to V6 exhausts for over 9 months now and I decided to go with the Ravin. I recommend it to anyone who is tired of the ricey raspy sounding ones. Just my opinion, no flames neeeded.

Did you guys get yours @ Midas? Seems to be what they are installing as their High Performance Muffler line.

Either way, what did you pay and where? Thanks

I got mine at a local exhaust shop. With huge tips and all labor was just under 300. Be careful with large chain shops, sometimes they just want to rush the work. My shop took time, carefully measured, and when he was done he didn't like the fit on the drivers side and redid it, he wasted a tip but was more concerned with the quality of his work. Most large chain like Midas or Meineke aren't that concerned. They even painted the pipes black to match the muffler, a nice touch. Whatever you choose, carefully inspect their work, if the tips don't line up, make them fix it.

I've had my Ravin for a year and a half and I love it. Got it $250 installed with big round 3" tips from a mom and pop owned Midas. The mechanic who installed it even let me watch him the whole time. He took his time and got it right the first time. Haven't heard a single V6 exhaust that sounds as good, besides a Borla. The owners said they wouldn't touch a flowmaster with a ten foot poll .

that sounds real nice. wish mine sounded like that. unfortunately all i could afford at the time was a flo-pro muffler. yuk.

oh well that's what the steady increase of money in the bank is for ;)

I believe Ravin makes its own mufflers, they have a very large selection. I doubt they are made by any other large company. If that was the case why would they change the muffler name for the ones sold at Midas if they all were exactly the same.

I got my Raven muffler from the shop and even with new tailpipes, etc it didn't cost over 175.00 and it was done at a midas shop. I would suggest you just buy the muffler and then go from their. Their are cheaper alternatives and that particular midas shop is just trying to rip you off.
