I am getting all exhaust work done on my car this friday at a place with a good reputation. My setup: free flow cat converter 2.5 piping to flowmaster 40 series to dual black z28 tips. I get a lifetime warantee but the drawback is that this is costing me $500. Thats a lot but I think it will be worth it. Any outstanding opinions I should hear first?

my cousin has 40 series on his ws6 and it has duel outlets
never heard 40 series on a 6 cyl, but on his car it sounds awesome. I have heard 40 series sounds better down low (on a 6) and worse up high than the 80 series. Performance would probably be the same. 1 or 2 hp :D
40 series original flow
40 series delta flow
80 series

I have a magna flow high flow cat, 3" back to a flowmaster (40 series I believe, with dual out) and it was $300 for everything.
I like the way flowmaster sounds... but I have a 3.4 and you have a 3.8, I think they sound worse on 3.8s.<b><a href=\"http://members.cox.net/95batmobile/d86f.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Sinister Six©</b></a><br /><a href=\"http://www.sounddomain.com/id/95batmobile\" target=\"_blank\">My \'95 Bird</a><br />I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.

Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
By: Hib Halverson
At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...02-07-2020, 10:30 PM
