  • fish smell????

    anyone ever smelt a foul fish like odor coming frmo their car? after drivng around for a while i can smell something like rotting fish coming from my car. it started the other day and it goes away after a while. its really really weird. i just tried to locate where the smell is coming from when i got home but it had disappeared. weird

        perhaps it smells more like sulphur? I could see sulphur and dead fish smelling kinda the same actually, anyways if its sulphur smelling your burning too lean I think?? maybe too rich? anyway reset your PCM, see if it goes away.. oh... have you recently done any mods to your car? and there may be a sensor going out, but its really not a big deal either way, and also the cat could be almost dead too, maybe its time to buy a hi flow =P
        perhaps the reason the smell went away is b/c you got used to it??

        edit: "maybe a sensor is going out" = maybe o2 sensor... or a couple otehrs I believe could cause this... I wrote the original post at 145 this morning, give me a break =P anyway sorry I couldnt be of more help
