• exhaust on my 6

This has probably been asked a 1000 times but this is my first day on here. I am trying to decide what type of exhaust to get for my car. I am really not worried about the power because I do not race my car I just what a good deep sound. I do not what loud though (I don't want people to be able to hear me form a mile away). I have no other mods done to my car at this time. The only thing that I plan to do besides the exhaust is to maybe get the K&N filter. I was thinking of getting the 80 series flowmater 3" offset inlet with the 2 1/2" dual outlet.
One more thing this might sound stupid but can I just get the muffler and have a muffler shop do the rest. If not what all do I need to get? I do not what to have to get a catback system.

Thanks for the help
Jeff

I would suggest getting a base SS/WS6/Firehawk catback. No only is it cheap, its suppose to sound good too.

The other popular option is a dynomax muffler. It seems to fit both your requirements

BTW you could just buy the muffler and put it on yet you need to know how to weld I just have a muffler on my car.

I've had both a flowmaster and dynomax on my car and I prefer the dynomax. It is very quiet at first but gets louder once it burns in. It's not as raspy at high rpm's either. Flowmaster sounds better under 2k rpm, but the dynomax sounds much better past that. I couldnt feel a performance difference between the two.
