  • Plenum spacer gains, rpm band not "hp"

I have 3/8'' spacers (I could make 2 more and have an all most 3/4'' spacer) for my 2.8 plenum on my 3.4L.
This is for the upper and lower part of the plenum not plenum to manifold.
    2 reasons for them:
1, change the runner length for a higher torque and hp peak to work with the 2000-5000 power band of my crane 272 cam.
2, make room for the ajustable fuel pressure reg mounted to the fuel rail and a 4AN sharder valve tap for fuel psi gauge and nitrous oxide kit fuel supply.
The stock heads and intake are good from idel-4500 rpm's. The old 2.8L stoped pulling at about 4500 rpm's and draged @$$ at 5000 rpm's.
How many rpm's do you think it will get me?
What would be better for a cammed 3.4, 3/8'' or 3/4'' upper, lower plenum spacer?
The plentum spacers will go on my car with ported polished heads, ported intake manifold, plenum with polished runners and Modded fuel rail that I'm working on here in japan.

It would be easier to get the heads ported to flow better and a cam ground that will give you the higher power band. If the cam is not used, it will be easy to sell and you can have a new one ground for a decent price.

      Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
      By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
