  • pacesetter header bolts?

    my pacesetter headers aren't coming with bolts. will my 2000 bolts fit? if not, where could i get some that would?

      I re-used the studs from the manifolds... worked fine, more or less....

        My pacesetters came w/ header bolts.... But they were rather short. So I re-used the stock bolts.

        Just make sure to retighten them a couple times after you've installed and driven around some.

          Our stock exhaust mainifold bolts have a metric head, but they have SAE thread. Any set of Mr. Gasket small block chevy header bolts will work just fine.

          I got a set for 8 bucks from a local race shop. They have allen heads on them and they look really cool.

              is there anything i should do to the bolts like clean them or spray them with any type of rust resistant?

                I don't know if the 3.4 is different, but you can't reuse the stock bolts with the 3.4
                You have to buy diferent ones, 8mm x 25mm
