  • O2 sensor and exhaust question

Alright guys I need to get something straight cause i am a little confused. LOL

I bought a TSP rumbler catback and around the same time ordered the loudmouth installation kit (S pipe) to use with the Rumbler.

I was wondering if the 3inch S pipe will fit on my STOCK cat even tho its a bigger size than the cat outlet... I looked under the car today and it looks like the flange on the s pipe will bolt right on to it and basically fit on the cat. I mean should I just get a 3 inch cat (might do that later on down the road). basically i am worried that the s pipe is too big for our stock cat.

Another ? i have is about that O2 sensor... i looked under the car but it was difficult cause it wasnt jacked up and i dont know if i saw it or not... but do I need to buy this-- http://zzperformance.com/zzp/product..._simulator.htm

Thanks... sorry for the retarded questions!!!!

Just get a 3" in, 3" out cat and install it at the same time. A higher-flowing cat will complement the flow and sound of the exhaust. They're not real expensive, so I would say just do it all at once.

You don't need the O2 sensor simulator. Get an O2 sensor bung from SLP. That will save you some cash, and you still have your oxygen sensor. Whoever is doing the install should be able to cut a hole in the S-pipe and weld the bung into place. If they do it right it will look just like the stock pipe, only bigger.

the zzp sim is a good one. If you end up needing one its the one to get. I installed mine today, and I run a dynomax cat, and it still threw a code.
