    Headers

    ok, I am ordering the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler Saturday. I am going to go with a 2.5" I-pipe but keep the stock cat.(yes I will need a reducer from the I-pipe to the cat) After making some money this summer I might go with a high-flow 2.5" inlet/outlet cat. I dont have the money for headers right now but I want to plan ahead. I am pretty sure that all the headers for our cars come with the y-pipe also(correct me if I'm wrong). What is the diameter of the y-pipe that comes with these headers. I want to make sure that 2.5" piping will match the whole way through, and not find out that the y-pipe that comes with headers will meet at the cat at 3" or something.

    All of the y-pipes for 3.8 headers are 3in.

        Is the collector the part where it meets the cat? What I really want to know is what the inner diameter of the pipe is that meets the cat.
