  • Anyone get these w/ their cutout?

I just ordered my cutout, i got these like spacer things that go by the cutout opening. Kind of oval shapped, im guessing they go in place of where the cut-out cap goes? Any ideas?

I got 2 spacers, and 2 seals...when you have it uncapped, are the spacers/seals supposed to be on?

    Thanx guys.

That might be the gaskets. Let us know how the cutout sounds at all rpms when you get it installed.

      NO problemo!

You wont believe this...i went to 3 different muffler shops by my house, not one of then knew what a cut out was! WTF

So i explained it and they said they couldnt put it on. No one gave me an exact reason!

One told me it would scratch on the ground, i told him its not supposed to face the ground but be parallel w/ it. Then he *****ed on how it would shoot grime and dirt all over my paint and tire and stuff...i told him its only for track purposes and would be capped all the time unless racing! He then proceeded on telling me he didnt want to mess with it!

      WTF

Its a simple 20 min job! i'd do it myself if i had a nice welder handy!

Man, now i gotta wake up early tomorrow and find a shop that'll do it for me!

I really want to hear it!You have the flowmaster catback right? Do you remember if you got the 3" i pipe? We have practically the same exhaust and mine is way louder. what gives? talk to you later

i have a cutout right b4 my muffler and it makes my brother with his 2001 z28 jelous every time i rev my motor. also ive noticed that after about 40-50 the car pulls alot harder. but anyways the car is very loud and sounds very muscle carish, i love it!!!!

Actually i think my exhaust is louder than yours :D

I bought the one from summit racing, i forgot what brand, it might be the summit brand not sure.

Yes i do have a 3" catback exhaust, im gonna put the cut out right before the "I" pipe goes over the axle.
