Will new exhaust tips change sound?

I currently have 3.5'' slash cut chrome tips. I plan on getting the stainless twin rolled angle exhast tips from Fast Toys. Will my exhasut note get higher pitched? quieter? please let me know how it will sound if you have gone through a similar process or have these tips, thanks.
