yes it helps at high speeds...tho at the track I saw a 0.2 increase in my ET :( I'm going to make myself feel better by blaming it on a stong headwind.

In terms of actual driving...it felt like it got a good kick in the a** above 55MPH and a nice surge above 95MPH. It's cool stuff...it'll give you a nice howling sound when you floor it and you're over 4,000RPM It sounds b*tchin

I did it and it really helped, the car felt like it was breathing better all around, only down side is the filter gets dirty very easy.

That is why I prefer my version of cold air induction which doesn't do any ramming of air but doesn't get the filter nasty either.

the filter is made to get dirty..its reusable anyways..you cant argue with all the people who do the Free ram air..it must work.. its cuttin a little bit of plastic that really does nothing....who cares? id bet cardinals car that you will feel a gain in high RPM's with this mod :D the washers on the airbox really didnt help me at all..but it makes sense that it would work....

doing the free ram air mod doesnt yeild much performance atleast i didnt notice hardly anything, however doing the free ram air and also putting on a CAI such as the SLP or Whisper ram air CAI, will gain you very noticable performance and also an advertised 10-20 hp ;)
