  • Need opinions on cat and exhaust tips

I've had my exhaust tips for a while now ever since i got my Flowmasters but i want to get some new ones, anyone have any opinions on some good lookin' tips? I'm heading more towards a quad tip. I'm also lookin' to swap out my cat for a new one. I have the Carsound right now but i wanted to see if there was another good cat that will give me some good sound for my car. Any suggestions?

i have the z28 tips.. but im thinking about getting some circular ones.. they look tight.. i used to want the z28 look, but im planning on buying a SS / Z28 in the next year after i sell my V6

    (i found a 95 z28 /w 100,000 mi. for 4700. my car is a 98 3.8L 130,000mi that i bought for 5000)

    go figure.

how much are you looking to spend on tips? a nice set for a decent price are the fast toys quad tips. they are stainless and won't rust. most of the nice looking quad tips are pretty expensive. look around on other boards and you might pick up a used pair of borla/corsa/b&b.

Would 3.5" be too big? I have the 2.5"in and 3" out. I'm just lookin' to spend maybe up to 100 bucks on tips.
