• 2000+ Manifold pictures?

I'd like to see pictures of the 2000+ manifolds and heat shields if anybody has them. I'm trying to get a better idea of whether or not these will help my plug/wire problems. Pictures of pre-2000 manifolds would help, too. Thanks.

I don't have any pics, but they WILL help you changing plugs/wires. Go look at some JBA shorty headers, that's what they look like, minus one scavenger (if that's the correct term) and they aren't coated obviously. They have lots of potential to be ported, then jet hot coated.

The file is actually in PDF format...I will take the pages out and post a link.

Scott - I may do that. You say the manifolds have porting/coating potential?? If so I'll look into that, too!

Viper - That'd be great, thanks!

Here's one a friend took of my car awhile back. It's taken from the passenger-side of the engine compartment, looking down.

Great pics, guys, thanks a bunch! I'll have to take a look at my manifolds to compare them. Thanks again.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
