Ok im planning to put in a new exhaust system. I got one question if I run a 3" catco high flow cat and 3" flowmaster do my pipes have to be 3" to or can they be 2.5"? Can someone tell me if my current planned setup is good or if it will sound good on a V6 3.8L?

Or can I just do these two? Will they work together and will it sound good on a 3.8L V6?

All people who own the dynomax say nothing but good things about it. I've heard it on a v6 myself, and does sound nice. I would vote go w/ a 3" catco, 3" dynomax muffler & i-pipe. That should sound real nice.
