Where does the cutout go?

Sorry about asking this question, but i just ordered a 2.25" cutout for my 98. I have been reading posts by people who have put one on, and i can't seem to tell where it goes. My experience is telling me the underside follows this order:

Exhaust Manifold--Catco--Resonator--Muffler--Tips

I am trying to figure out where the cutout goes. I have read both before and after the catco. Any tips? thanks.

Put it behind the catalytic converter, on the I-pipe. This is where I had mine back when I had my '94. I could easily lay down on my back next to the car & remove or re-install the cap.
