ok, ive got a 99 camaro with no other performance mods except for a custom intake. i wanna get a catback system only right now and i want it to sound "not ricey" and also give some good hp gains. my budget is about 400 - 500 bucks, what do you guys think?

    thanks

B&B tri-flo with CIA headers is sounding nicer and nice by the minute. Here's the link....

Custom True duals.. 2 2.5 Moroso spiral flow mufflers ($46.xx from Jegs), dumped underneath the car just short of the axle. Use 2.25 pipe off the manifolds, and have the shop build a functional H-pipe into it. It will sound great. I've got the exhaust except with 2.5 pipes.. I got it done for $175 plus parts.

Edelbrock has made me happy. Get a catback, and have a high flow cat with it. =)

A cat by itself won't give you much gains...but ya know...it doesn't hurt trying to help the exhaust get out easier.

Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
