    You don't loose torque, but it moves the torque curve to higher rpm. Meaning you may loose a little low rpm torque, but you'll pick it up in the high rpm range.

      In otherwords, it wont hurt you. It will help your 1/4 mile.. The gains you pick up at peak power aren't as good as they sound, but what you pick up over the general power curve is DEFINATELY worth it.

            not necessarily bad although not great either but extremely loud and obnoxious been there lol....without the muffler there will be barely any difference at all in torque or hp, do you mean remove your catalatic converter as far as torque and power?

              At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
