My Y pipe is 2 1/4 and my new high flow cat is 3", where can I buy an adapter for this. I tried pep boys and called around but no one has these. I might jus tend up making one myself.

If Pepboys or some place similar doesn't have 'em, go by a local trustworthy muffler shop, and talk to someone there. Even if they don't have something that will work, they can find something and make it work. Most of the time, adaptors like that are cheaper to just bend/weld into shape and they will generally do it pretty fast.
