  • Exhaust adapters----Where to get?

    My Y pipe is 2 1/4 and my new high flow cat is 3", where can I buy an adapter for this. I tried pep boys and called around but no one has these. I might jus tend up making one myself.
    1993 3.4 <br />Borla rear section<br />3 inch Catco High Flow Cat<br />2.75 inch I pipe (Picked one up from an LT-1 guy for a whole $10)<br />K&N Fipk <br />180° T-stat<br />Jet Stage II<br />10 Spoke Z28 Wheels<br />NGK\'s, Taylor Spiros<br />Mobil 1 synthetic<p>Email Viper2@chesnet.net for 4th gen replacement parts.

    Come on guys, Everyone has bigger I pipes and cat converters. How did you do it?

      If Pepboys or some place similar doesn't have 'em, go by a local trustworthy muffler shop, and talk to someone there. Even if they don't have something that will work, they can find something and make it work. Most of the time, adaptors like that are cheaper to just bend/weld into shape and they will generally do it pretty fast.
