    How big is an exhaust on my 1996 camaro v6?

    stock exhaust is 2.25'' after the cat.

            i am for hard stuff and saying i did it, i would have to cut the pipes? cause i can do that, i will also need to weld everything in? What kind of weld i can do tig mig and arc and oxy-accataline? what would i have to take off to weld everything in? Dificulty 1-10, i am 15 and have rebuilt my engine, so i have experance, like what can you tell me about all of this?

              i am also thinking about taking the egr out, i dont want the engine running on dirty exhaust, is this bad, i can block it off myself, but what are yalls openions?

                personally i say just leave your egr in place, on an otherwise stock engine your not even going to be able to tell a difference. The egr system doesn't operate under WOT anyawy. Also if all you do is block off the egr system your PCM will set your SES light.
                As for the cut out i would probably just MIG weld it in place directly before the cat. If you welded an O2 bung into the cutout pipe there will be enough room for it. But yes you will have to weld everything in

                  I dont think you should put it before the cat, its just going to be loud and sound like $hit.

                    i am not looking for sound and what about an 02 sensor where, do i need another o2 sensor??

                      Well what are you looking for because before the cat you are porbaly going to lose power. Its going to through an ses light without an o2 SIM not sensor.
