    broken egr! help!! what to do?

    ok..here in fl there are no emissions...

    so as i was taking the egr valve off of my stock manifold.. it broke the tubing.. i did not force anything. it seems to have been broken.

    i guess that explains the ticking i always hear when i drive...

    so with this broken egr.. is there a way i can just block off the part on the header where it is supposed to connect to?

    how much would it be to replace the pipeing of the EGR valve?

      ok so i searched the whole board.


      i kno you can make a blockoff plate.. but it will send codes..


      i dont want anymore stupid check engine light..

      the hose is broken, and no way to fix it.

      so if i just block off the part on the header.. and leave the egr hose just hanging there.. what will happen?

      or do i have to clog up the hose as well?
