  • Broken header bolt.

I just had PaceSetter headers put on my 3.4l and the mechanic said the header bolt broke as he was taking it out. He never offered to fix it or anything like that. Anyways, ever since then I have heard a ticking in front of my car on the driver said. I know it is a leak and I am going to have it fixed this week, but the question is, does a little leak like that really affect performence? Any opinions or bits of info is what I am looking for. Thanks

Yes, it will affect your performance and over time get worse. Better to get it fixed now.
