This may be a stupid question but I was wondering if you could even put whisper lid on a ram air trans am? And if you could would the effects be worht the price of adding it?

If you are talking about the one made for a 5.7L then umm.... yeah. If you are talking about the 3.8L one, then I'm sure it could be adapted, but I'd just buy another lid so the intake lines up properly. It certainly is quite effective, especially on a Ram Air. I would recommend the Direct Flow lid from ls1motorsports.com. It's a little more durable then the Whisper and it is only about $100 (comes with an air pump filter for 2000+).

Check out http://www.motorsporttech.com/ls1/index.html and go to Ait Intake Section. They have a clear lid that not only looks sweet, but works as well as any other, for a good price.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!
