Is there any way we can get that sound with legal exhaust or ummm *semi-legal* exhaust. That was the best soundin V6 I done ever heard. Sounded like a suped up 8 almost. Sweetness!! But if there a way to get our cars to sound like that and pass emmissions then sign me up!!

I doubt that sound is bearable at highway speeds and would sound horrible at high rpm's. That's how mine is now with just a flowmaster muffler and all 3" exhaust.

A semi legal way is to strait pipe it from the headers

If you're talking about not throwing a code, you would have to get an O2 Sim. You can pick one up or have one made for cheaper, but don't ask ME how.
If you're talking about getting throw inspection, you won't unless you know somebody...

Now, where did you order your headers from and how much did they cost to purchase, and install?

My exhaust system has now been restored. Along with the reduction of a catalytic converter and I now have a 3" mandrel bent S-Pipe.

All I gotta say is, whoa! My top end has really improved as my low end is also quite sturdy as well.

I can't say it was worth the $600+, but theres no doubt a performance gain is there and the sound is also a lot better

Sandman: They are CIA headers. They cost me approx $600 shipped to my house.

I did the install myself. 6 hours w/ a buddy and a lift.

Very cool. I wouldn't mind doing them myself, but I don't have access to a lift. And I'm sure there would be a lot of obscenities coming from underneath the car :D
