  • what to buy with headers?

Im considering buying headers for my 3.4L camaro.

What else would i have to buy (besides the headers) to install them?
Like all the bolts, gaskets and all that good stuff.

Part numbers would help alot too..

Also, how long did the installation take for all you 3.4 guys? Is it a job that can be done with me and my dad?

I haven't intalled mine yet, so i dont know how hard it is, but i got most of the stuff that i need to install it. I got Fel-Pro exhaust manifold gaskets from Advance Auto Parts, i dont know the number but they were like $7 pair. Also, i got O2 sensors so i dont have to bother swithching them over cuz they were on there for 8 years and prob. rust wellded on there. I also heard that LS1 exhaust maniflod bolts work better than the stock ones, cuz they are shorter, but im not sure about that. You prob. will have to cut your y-pipe from cat. conv. cuz it doesnt have a flange, therefore you prob. will have to weld your headers to you cat. conv., look under your car and see how your manifolds connected to the cat.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
