  • Need some quick help with cat-back system!

I called Summit Racing today to order a Hooker Cat-Back System . I thought that if I ordered the one for the 93-95 Z28 Camaro it would fit my Camaro. The reason I thought that is becuase with the SLP Loudmouth, they need the same part as we do to make it fit the car. They said it wouldn't fit, that a exhaust shop would have to bend pipes to make it work, and that would hurt my power because the pipes are not mandrel bent. They also said that about the LS1 system. Will this system fit my car, our will they have to bend pipes? I thought some people on this board have V8 systems on there V6's. If any of you guys know anything about this, please post a reply.

I am also wanting the Catco cat. Will this system that I want, gain me power, or make me loose power?

    Thanks for any input.
2002 Camaro SS, 6 speed, SLP Loudmouth, TR 224/224 Camshaft(valvetrain upgraded), Pro 5.0 shifter / Hurst classic black knob.

    I don't see why It wouldn't fit...

      Building the Tom Henry RS
Part 4: Suspension Mods, Tires, Wheels, Headers and other Cool Stuff.
      By: Hib Halverson

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
