slp s pipe questiong

i got the slp s pipe for my tsp rumbler. People say to cut off the flange on the s pipe. this may be a dumb question put what if u just leave the flange on?

leave it on if you have another flange to connect it to. cut it off and band clamp or weld it if you dont.

I got my S pipe waiting for my Rumbler to get here... whoooo cant wait. I will get it on in about 2 saturdays from now.
