  • I'm Back, got a question

OK spring is finally approaching here in northern VT and my Bird which has been in storage since mid OCT will be out in a few weeks. I need some adive on an intake set-up, I am looking to gain some power and sound, i was planinng on more but new tires have cut my list short. What kinda of gain could i be looking at with an SLP intake, whisper lid and K&N?? I know it will sound a little better.Im think like 20hp sounds realistic, i have a flowmaster amercian thuner cat back as well but im still new to the F-body and its V6 pontential. I have looked at the Fast toys Raim air is it worth the extra cost over SLP's? any advice would be a help, i need to get this ordered in the next couple weeks so i can have in itstalled by spring

You wont see 20 to the wheels.
By the time it hits the ground you MIGHT be getting 10...but you'll love every one of em.

I have the Whisper Ram-Air Kit, Whipser Lid and K&N and I think it's close to 20hp. This is based on everything I have read about all 3, so it's just a guesstimate.

This combo made my car sound a little better and offered some nice power, especially top-end (40+ mph). And I get about 20 more miles to the gallon. No kiddin'.

I should have mentioned the gain was at the flywheel, i wish that would get me 20hp at the wheels! Sadly only CIVIC owners are that lucky!LOL
