I am probably going to the track the 14th and I need some quick help.

I think I know how to build an intake but everyone that I have seen is using metal piping. Home depot doesn't have it. Im goint to the the local familian but i have no clue. I will order the filter tonight or tomorrow. How do I get a 3 or 4 inch pipe to fit by the ABS system thing. I will start as soon as I can get a few pointers. I am doing a search right now but have a limited time on the computer so if you guys can point me to the best forum u think would help that would be great. thanks. starting a search.....

You could probably go to a local muffler shop and ask for a scrap 3 inch pipe or just buy one from them. While your at it, you minds have them mandrel bend it to

Take a look at my cardomain.com site, i had a few variations but the key to our years is try to not make it all one long pipe, it will end up falling out a lot of the time. What I did was I got a 3inch 90degree angle rubber peice and then I just got any old 3inch aluminum intake to fit by the abs part and then I stuck a K&N on the end of it. It's a pretty efficent design, At first I had one big pipe that fit around everything perfectly, but it fell out all the time from the TB unless you took the MAF screen out. But take a look. You might just be better off buying a SLP CAI or something.

and also wouldnt a 3" rubber 90degree elbow thing be too restrictive at the bend or ?
