  • Who has Loudmouth

I've been looking into getting a new catback and I was wanting your opinion on it. How loud is it really, and does it produce a lot of rasp. Or even better do you have a sound clip?

Just get a cutout, thats what I did. I also have a 3'' cat and 3'' flowmaster catback. it will rasp.

I have a 3" stainless steel Loudmouth catback but instead of the SLP resonator I put in a Dynomax Race Bullet in its place - sounds mean as ****! :D

I have loudmouth. It's pretty loud, especially if you go through a parking garage or something. I like it, raspy when you're on it though. I was thinking about getting a Dynomax race bullet muffler myself but I've never heard how it sounds so I dunno if I want to yet.

When you get on it, it sounds really loud, doesn't rasp till around 4k like brandon83 said. Sounds kinda like a race car. I miss the sound to tell you then truth, lately all I hear when i floor it is backfire :( . It'll be back soon though, soon as I figure out this whole spark plug, wire, coil mess...

I just posted a sound clip of it on the thread called sound clip, lol. Listen to it, sounds almost exactly like mine, I think mine's deeper though.

I've got the loudmouth and I really, really enjoy it!

The rasp does kick in around 4000 rpms.

I don't know very many people that hit 4k rpms doing daily driving, though. If you get it, I almost gaurantee you'll enjoy it.
