  • Best exhaust for 3.4

I've searched these forums for a long long time. Been looking around for many months. Right now I have my eyes set on the rumbler but I'm not sure what the best sounding exhaust would be. Any sugguestions? A loud exhaust is fine.

Only mods I have done are a K%N intake.

I am kind of on a budget of probably under $300

Also I would probably want to have somewhere install it.

Well for $300 installation included your kind of limited to your options.Go to exhaust shops and get some deals.Or instead use the money to buy a Chip or Programmer.

i'd pick up a used loudmouth or get the rumbler. i went from a flowmaster to a rumbler on my 3.4 and loved it. its loud, but not obnoxious like everyone says. most of my car is dynamated so that might make a difference.

I've got a loudmouth on my 3.4, and it gets quite raspy top end. If someone can host me some files I'll start up the video cam 2nite and show you what I'm talking about

my friend has a 3.4 with just an 80 series muffler, high flow cat, and 3" tips, and it sounds bad ***, way better then my 3.8 with american thunder, its got the roar when it start ups, and a great mean rumble up to about 3500, after that though it gets ricy, but up to about 3000 it sounds just like a v8, no lie, may its cuz hes just got the muffler and big tips, or i duno what, but it really does damn good
