will this work on the v6's ? if i remember the path from my lid to the maf was straight, not bent like the piece.

You could make it work, but you can find the straight ones all over ebay a lot cheaper, or if you buy a whisper lid you won't even need one.

yeah.. ive already got my whisper lid installed..i just dont like the little accordian piece i had to use to connect it..
(99-02 whisper lids require you to use the accordian piece, the lid isnt long enough to go to the maf)

the stock tube you use for the whisper lid is kinda an eye sore, but its not like it hurts airflow that much since its so short. i wouldnt worry about it if i were you

Fernco! Go to Lowes/Home Depo and buy a 3" diameter rubber plumbing connector. There are directions over at ls1tech.com that explain how to make it fit. It involves boiling the piece to make it pliable and a little cutting. It's a $5 mod that cleans up the look of your intake a lil bit and it can't hurt performance cuz its perfectly smooth inside! Toss that accordian!
