any news? What's the e-mail address so I can send them a message? That would be sweet if they were around $200-250!

Hey red97rum, where are you at? I'm near the Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, El Toro and RSM area... (If any of those ring a bell for you...)

Oh, right, my actual post. :D

Yes, $200 sure IS cheap. But it probably doesn't included Y-pipe (I'd be worried about quality if it did...), and you already know that it doesn't include ceramic coating.

If you're going to get headers, do yourself a favor and ceramic coat them. Keep in mind that you won't have heat shields anymore.

So between Y-pipe and coating, that'll bump up the price some solid notches. Just keep that in mind before you jump head first into the shallow end of the pool. ;)

Oh, and YES (in answer to whoever it was who asked...)- The CIA headers should fit any 3.8. The most you should have to worry about is maybe nudging some lines a half inch out of the way. No problem.

I would imagine that the $200 price DOES include the y-pipe, and the headers are painted. I know for a fact that the paint burns off rather quickly, as I have seen on other painted Pacesetters.

If it is in fact true that they are going to be putting them on the market in 90 days, and after some more details come out abut them, I would get in on a GP ;)

Well guys I'd to burst your bubble on these headers. I am a wholesaler for their line, and I've been waiting on these things for 2 yrs (that's how long the part number has been in their catalog) and everytime I call them to check on them I keep getting another story. I am gonna get a set when they do become available (probably the first set) but... I would say they won't be available until the first of 2003. As in numbers on these here you go

1.5" tubing
2.5" collector
comes with the O2 sensor bung pre-welded in
they are available in black (70-1209) or ceramin (72C-1209)
70-1209 suggested $289.95
72C-1209 suggested $539.95

Also just for the hell of it, I just got off the phone with them... and the minimum lead time is 8 wks now.
