  • Arizona Speed & Marine CAI

    does anyone have one?
    i'm looking for some opinions good or bad, i want to pick one up, i like the look of it but i want to know if the performance is the same as k&n or slp.

    and before i get slammed here....i did try the SEARCH and apparently there have not been many posts regarding the arizona cai. :D

        Personally, I'd go with the MTI one... it's the cheapest one and is supposedly better flowing than the Moroso

          what's MTI?? i've heard of k&n, slp, and moroso for our cars but not mti.

              MTI does alot of V8 work, most recently some kiler 422cube LS1's, etc. They also did the Z07 Corvette (yes, it's a 7, not a 6). A guy south of here (Steven Sanders, better-known as "Colonel"), has a MTI-built 422 LS1 Z28 running high 9's all-motor. They're out of Texas, and their web addy is www.motorsporttech.com if I recall correctly.

                  The SLP CAI is great. I guess the MTI is new because last time I checked it wasn't there and that was a few months ago. If they've actually checked what it flows and it does flow 1200 cfm then perhaps you could give it a shot. Maybe you could do some before and after dyno testing. That would be great.
