    I have seen one kind for the 1997 and before and one for the 1998, then one for the 1999 to present, what gives?

    the throttle body position was changed, when they went to drive by wire as opposed to drive by cable. the 96-98's were cable controlled. also, i believe it helps some with the airflow, having a non angle TB
